This study investigates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools into English language teaching and learning (ELTL) at undergraduate institutions in Andhra Pradesh, India. By using a mixed-methods design, the research surveyed both the students and the educators to assess the effectiveness of AI applications such as Grammarly, ChatGPT, and ELSA Speak. However, the findings reveal that AI significantly enhances grammatical accuracy, pronunciation, and learner engagement through personalized feedback mechanisms. Nonetheless, the challenges like lack of infrastructure, limited access, and inadequate teacher training hinder the full-scale adoption. The study underscores the need for a balanced integration of AI tools supported by policy infrastructure to achieve sustainable and equitable language education outcomes.
