Shelley, Lord Tennyson, T.S. Eliot, W.B. Yeats from British Literature adopted Hinduism thoughts and Philosophy, For a Non-Indian reader some of the concepts that occur in the stories in Hindu Mythology may be difficult to understand but Eliot, Yeats and Emerson and Walt Whitman could understand Hindu Mythology and Philosophy. Ralph Waldo Emerson, Hendry David Thoreau, Walt Whitman were great Americans who read the Hindu scriptures and was Profoundly influenced by Hindu Philosophy. The vedantic Philosophy is the best seen in their poetry. Transcendendentalism is belief of existence of a divine world, beyond and above the world of the senses.
